Activities
Regular activities during the week at St Luke's include the following:
Mondays Day centre for senior citizens at 10.45 am in the lounge
The Norman font from Holy Trinity church
Wednesdays Holy Communion at 9.30 am in the Vestry Prayer meeting at 10.30 am
Kingfishers after school club 3 – 5 pm in the hall for the 7 - 11 age group during term time. We start with games indoors, or outside if it's fine in the summer, and then a break time for a drink and a biscuit. Then we usually have a video with a Christian message, followed by arts and crafts. There is a small charge of 30p per session.

Thursdays Coffee morning in the lounge 10 – 12 noon Traidcraft stall 1st and 3rd Thursdays Mothers' Union stall 2nd Thursday
House group and Bible study at 7.30 pm
Fridays Band practice led by our Youth worker at 5.30 pm 6.30p.m. "Taste & See" Informal night church in Christian Company Drop in or out any time until 9.00p.m.
During the 10.30 am service on the third Sunday of the month we have prayer for healing taking place in the side chapel. Anyone who would like prayer for themselves, or for someone else, is welcome to come and see us. Confidentiality is strictly respected. Alternatively we have a prayer board in the prayer chapel where you can leave a request. More details are available in a leaflet in the church.
The Mothers' Union is a worldwide Christian organisation Meeting every first Thursday in the month at 2.30 pm in the Lounge
